Mission Statement
The Mission of Voices Against Violence, is to lead, mobilize and raise our voices to support efforts that demand a change of conditions that lead to domestic violence such as patriarchy, privilege, racism, sexism, and classism. Also, directly interact with all aspects of the community in an endeavor to enhance the quality of life by addressing the issues surrounding Domestic Family/Intimate Partner Violence (DF/IPV). Through education, intervention, empowerment and prevention, we can teach and apply a healthy, positive life-changing approach in helping break the cycle of violence in our homes and our communities. We are dedicated to supporting survivors and holding offenders accountable and supporting advocates.
