The purpose of this Gala is to honor the unspoken and pay homage to the victims, survivors & their families as well as the West Covina Police Department. All ticket sales will get a tax deductible receipt.

All proceeds will go towards our Diane Franklin & Voices Against Violence Support a Child Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund was designed to Aid children transitioning to 12 grade with their Senior expenses who suffered from domestic violence by loosing their parents, home and / or physically abused . We believe that if these children don’t have the financial support to assist them in their senior year, they will opt not graduate.

Support A Family Program

Every year our organization adopts a family for the Holidays. We gift them with food, clothing and items from their wish list. This year we chose to assist the children of Deceased Danielle Warren Robinson. Danielle Warren Robinson was killed in Los Angeles on September 06, 2015 by her abuser/boyfriend. She had six (6) children varying from ages 7 to 19, two of her youngest children are developmental delayed and one of the two is blind. All the children was placed in Foster Care with the exception of her eldest son who is now 19 years old and could not be placed. In addition; The landlord where the late Danielle was renting her apartment decided to file an eviction upon learning of her death which ,ultimately prohibited them from living together as a family unit and depriving them to have access of their personal belongings. The eldest son was placed in a homeless situation which led him to live from house to house and sleep on the couch of friends. Voices Against Violence desire is to bring this family back together for the holidays. We under no circumstances can replace what they have lost but, we can plant memories. If you would like to donate to this family please contact Gwendolyn Odom at 626-689-0274.

Safe House

Since 2013 we have been assisting the abused with Shelter by using funds from our organization as well as; our personal funds to aid them in obtaining shelter (hotels). Our long term goal is to obtain a safe house so, we don’t have to put the women and their children in temporary shelter or a hotel but give the a home environment.
